Provisioning

This week we are in the busyness of 'provisioning'. For you land-lubber-types, that means we are shopping, packing and stowing all the provisions that we can imagine needing or wanting on board with us for the next three months. The dog, the knitting, the books, the prawn traps.... and the groceries.

By Friday, May 23rd, we expect to be underway. And we will add to this Blogspot whenever we have access to internet services. 'Hope you enjoy our journey with us, and please feel free to add a Comment or send emails. I know we will miss our friends and family very much.

Good Evening.... we had a great weekend here at home. Hank & I went to Anacortes Friday, spent the night and the next forenoon we went to La Conner, where Hugh & Barbara were waiting on the dock each with their bikes, (they were on a bike ride) to come on board. Barbara and I went to a deli to pick up some sandwiches and salad, I had brought a fruit tray, so had a nice lunch on the "O HENRY". After a late lunch we headed back to B'ham, had a great time. Sunday we enjoyed seeing the "KONIEBES" sponsered by La Belle, win 1st place, in the Family devision, at the "Ski to Sea. the team was Darcy, Michelle & Joel and 2 of Michelle's brothers & a nephew of Michelle's and Josh from our office, then a salmon barbie at Darcy & Michelle's in the evening. Tomorrow morning we are flying to Florida, spending a few days with Bill & Viola,( from Colorado). Continue to enjoy your sailing!!

Dan and Mimi;
We are so glad to know that all is going well. It was hectic getting going but I think we covered everything (except the fuel measuring stick which you could fabricate along the way).
Let me know if you need anything. Did the C-Map arrive?
Cheers
Ron

I'm sure glad found the link to this blog tucked away in my inbox from weeks past. I just finished reviewing your trip and WOW, it sounds like a fabulous adventure (great writing Mimi)!

You guys have been in my thoughts many times since your departure. Keep the diary of your days coming and include more photos when you can.

Many blessings and safe passage to you each and every day,

Lane
